Female Founders Institute

The Female Founders Institute is an organization founded with the primary aim of supporting and empowering female entrepreneurs. It was established in Sacramento, CA in 2024, by Rose Vitale and Diana Affandi. The institute focuses on addressing the gender disparity in entrepreneurship by providing tailored resources, mentorship, and support networks specifically designed for women in business. Their efforts extend to supporting minorities, underrepresented groups, and LGBTQ+ individuals in starting and scaling their businesses. The founders recognize the unique challenges faced by female entrepreneurs, particularly in accessing funding and resources, and aim to fill these gaps through education and advocacy.

The Female Founders Institute was established in Sacramento, CA on May 23rd, 2024 by Rose Vitale and Diana Affandi (the Founders) in response to the growing need to support and empower female entrepreneurs, including minorities, underrepresented groups, and LGBTQ+ individuals, in starting and scaling their businesses.

The Female Founders Institute was founded with the primary goal of addressing the gender disparity in entrepreneurship. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by female founders in accessing funding, mentorship, and support networks, the institute was established to provide tailored resources and opportunities specifically designed to empower women in business.

Rose and Diana envision launching the Female Founders Institute starting from Sacramento through Bakersfield along Highway 99. They recognize the lack of support, education, and resources for female entrepreneurs. The Central Valley of California represents a unique opportunity to educate women in entrepreneurship.
